I had three universities that I had in mind including Miami University, University of Florida and University of Cincinnati (my dream college being University of Florida because I’m from Florida and a Gator fan). These colleges had one thing in common…expensive tuition. My choice to attend Wright State had nothing to do with my major because the summer just before fall quarter I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life.
My decision came down to taking out student loans or having my mother pay for my college tuition. I was never forced or black mailed to pick Wright State but money did play a big role in my decision. In high school, my grades were excellent but not decent enough to land me some scholarships and my mother makes to much money to grant me with financial aid.
I picked Wright State University because I didn’t want to be 40 years old and still paying student loans. An example would be my mom who went back to school twice and is still paying for it. I thought I wanted to go to a big school where I would have different majors and clubs to pick from. I came from a small high school where there is farmland everywhere. So I thought I would love to be surrounded by thousands of people.
To be honest, I actually love the small feel Wright State has. I’m not swallowed up by hundreds of thousands of students. University of Florida is still my dream school but expensive tuition or not, I believe I made the right decision.

Of course, I believe you made the "Wright" decision because I think Wright State is an awesome college. If you're focused and disciplined, you will do well. And your efforts will pay off for you.
